Training & Support - Kestrel Air Duct Cleaning

Every visit starts with

Whole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents

Worth knowing

That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

Training & Ongoing Support

You don’t need to know a damper from a diffuser on day one. Most Kestrel owners didn’t. What you need is the willingness to learn a trade, manage a small team, and keep a promise. We teach the rest. From week one through your hundredth job, there’s a system behind you: hands-on training, written playbooks, a live person on the phone when you’re stuck, and the experienced folks at Kingswell who have been doing this since 2004. You’ll never have to guess whether a duct job was priced right or a dryer vent is actually clear. Someone will show you.

Initial Training

The first answer to the question “what if I don’t know this trade” is simple: we don’t expect you to know it yet. Initial training is built for people with zero air duct experience. You’ll spend time learning the two services deeply, because Kestrel does exactly two things: air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. Nothing else. You’ll learn how a Rotobrush rotary brush system works against the duct wall, how a Nikro negative-pressure unit pulls debris out instead of blowing it into the living room, and how Abatement Technologies HEPA filtration keeps loose particulates from circulating while the work happens. Then we explain it in the plainer version our customers hear: the brush knocks it loose, the vacuum pulls it out, the filter keeps it from floating around your house.

Training covers what to say at the door, how to give a written price before any work starts, and why that written price is the first promise of the Kingswell Guarantee. You’ll learn the software for booking jobs and tracking the 365-Day Done Right Promise. You’ll learn what to look for when you hire, what a background check actually includes, and how to coach a technician through a first month. Marketing training comes next: who to call on, how to speak to homeowners who’ve been burned by a no-show before, and how to make “Cleaner air, from the vents back” mean something on a neighborhood street rather than a billboard.

Launch Support

Opening the doors is the point where most small businesses go quiet. Not here. Launch support at Kestrel is practical: your local marketing setup, your lead flow, and someone who knows how to talk you through your first ten jobs. You get help building the local presence that matters for a service business: listings that are accurate, a website that reflects the Kingswell Guarantee and the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and an approach to local customers that doesn’t rely on a coupon with fine print. We’d rather you win a customer by looking honest than looking cheap.

The lead engine is set up with you, not for you. When the first calls come in, you’ll have a process: answer, give the window, show up, put the price in writing before a single vent is touched, leave the place cleaner than you found it, put the guarantee in writing. That sequence is drilled in before you ever drive to a first appointment. First-jobs coaching covers what to do when a homeowner has never had their ducts cleaned, what to document with before-and-after photos so the work is visible, and how to handle it when a dryer vent hasn’t been touched in years and the lint is packed in like felt.

Ongoing Support

  • Field coaching: when a job goes sideways or a technician has a question, there’s a live voice to call. Not a ticket queue.
  • Marketing support: ongoing help with local presence, campaign structure, and the messaging that fits the Kingswell way of selling.
  • Vendor relationships: the equipment partners are established, including Rotobrush, Nikro, and Abatement Technologies, plus Honeywell, Aprilaire, and Guardsman for filtration and indoor-air products.
  • Technology and software: the systems for booking, guarantee tracking, and job documentation are already in place. You learn them once and use them every day.
  • National brand campaigns: Kingswell runs the kind of marketing that makes “the Kingswell Guarantee” mean something before a customer ever picks up the phone.
  • Ongoing training: refresher sessions, new-technician onboarding, and updates when the brand learns something worth teaching.
