Whole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents
That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

Mention the offer when you book. One offer per household per visit; offers can’t be combined with each other and don’t apply to work already quoted or completed. Local pricing and availability vary by location - your local Kestrel Air Duct Cleaning team confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
Every job is priced the same way: a free written estimate
We price the job, not the hour. Before anyone touches anything, you get the full price for the specific work in writing - no hourly meter, no membership to join, no financing to sign, and no line items added afterwards. If the number isn’t right for you, the estimate is still free and you owe us nothing.
How We Price Air Duct Cleaning Work
Every job at Kestrel is priced job by job, off a free written estimate. No hourly rate. No plan to join. No subscription that auto-renews while you forget about it. You get a single number, in writing, before a single vent cover comes off – and that number is the price.
The reason we work this way is straightforward: air duct systems are not identical. A house with 10 returns and a straight-shot main trunk is a different job than one with 22 branches, two air handlers, and flex duct that someone folded like a garden hose in 2001. Charging everyone the same flat rate means overcharging one household and cutting corners on another. A written estimate based on your specific system means you know exactly what you’re paying for, and we know exactly what we’re committing to.
When you see the price, it’s the whole price. It doesn’t grow once we’re inside.
What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out
Nothing. The estimate visit is free.
Here is what that visit looks like: a uniformed, background-checked Kestrel technician walks the system with you, looks at the returns, the supply registers, the air handler, and the trunk lines, and then gives you a written price for the work. The whole thing takes roughly the time it takes to walk your house once. At the end of it, you hold a piece of paper with a number on it.
You are under no obligation to say yes. If you want to think it over, think it over. If the price doesn’t work for you, that’s a fair answer and we’ll shake hands and leave. The estimate costs you nothing and commits you to nothing – and that is exactly how it should be.
When People Usually Call Us
There are a handful of moments that tend to bring this work to the front of the list, and if you’ve landed here during one of them, that’s not a coincidence.
Moving into a new place. You don’t know the history of that system. The previous owners might have had pets, done a renovation without sealing the vents, or simply never thought about the ducts in the decade they lived there. A cleaning before you settle in means you start with a clean slate.
Spring, when allergy season arrives. The heating season stirs up a winter’s worth of settled dust every time the blower kicks on. By the time spring rolls around, that material has been cycling through the house for months. A lot of our calls come in around this window.
Fall, the first time the furnace runs. Everything that settled in the ducts over a still summer gets pushed into the living space the first day the heat comes on. That dusty, faintly burned smell is exactly what it sounds like.
Dryer vent calls come in heaviest in winter. Heavy laundry loads, longer drying cycles, lint accumulating faster than the vent can clear it – that combination is when people start noticing the dryer running two cycles to finish a load, which is the first sign the vent needs attention.
None of these are emergencies. They’re just the natural rhythms of a house.
What You Can Expect From Us Either Way
Whether there’s an active offer or not, the job runs the same way. That’s not a talking point – it’s the whole premise of how Kestrel operates under the Kingswell Guarantee.
The written price is in your hands before work starts. Always. Not usually, not when we remember to bring the form. Every time, on every visit, with no exceptions. Dale Whitmore built the company this way because he’d seen what the alternative looks like: a low number quoted on the phone, a bigger number on the invoice, and a homeowner who felt they had no choice once the van was in the driveway.
Our technicians are background-checked, show up in uniform, and use professional-grade equipment – Rotobrush rotary brush systems to dislodge debris at the duct wall, Nikro negative-pressure units to pull it out, and Abatement Technologies HEPA filtration to keep loosened particles out of your air while the work is happening. These are not box-store shop vacs.
The job is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the work falls short within the guarantee period, we return and make it right at no charge. That’s in writing on your copy of the guarantee – not a courtesy we extend at our discretion, but a standing commitment on every job. The Kingswell Way is simple: say the price, show up when we said we would, leave the place cleaner, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if it fails.
Common Questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes – no charge, no obligation. A Kestrel technician walks your system, assesses what the job actually involves, and hands you a written price. If you decide not to move forward, there’s nothing owed. The estimate is how we earn the work, not how we bill for the visit.
Do you offer financing or a monthly plan?
No, and that’s deliberate. Every job is priced off a free written estimate for that specific job – there’s no subscription, no membership, and no financing product attached to it. We price the work, you see the number before anything starts, and that’s the whole transaction. Simple tends to be more honest.
Can I combine two offers?
One offer per household per visit. If you’re booking your first service, the first-visit offer applies to that booking. Stacking discounts isn’t something we do – the written estimate is already the honest price for your system, and we’d rather earn your trust than paper over the visit with multiple coupons.
Does the price change once you’re here?
No. The written estimate is the price. If a technician opens a duct and finds something that wasn’t visible during the estimate – something that would require additional work – we stop, show you what we found, and write a new number before doing anything further. You decide whether to proceed. Nothing gets added to the invoice without your say-so first.
