Whole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents
That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

AfterAir Duct Cleaning Company in Tequesta, FL
Air duct cleaning in Tequesta costs between $285 and $640 for most single-system homes, and the job usually takes three to five hours. Kestrel Air Duct Cleaning handles the whole village, from the canal-front homes along the Loxahatchee River to the condos near US-1. The combination of river humidity and salt air means Tequesta duct systems age differently than they do ten miles inland, so we approach every job here with that in mind. Call (469) 972-3151 for a written quote before any work begins.
Why Tequesta Homes Are Different
Tequesta sits where the Loxahatchee River, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the Atlantic coast all meet. That’s not just a nice view. It means the air moving through your ducts carries moisture from three different water bodies, and that moisture settles inside ductwork faster than it does in Wellington or western Palm Beach County. We regularly see biofilm forming inside return ducts within a single summer in Tequesta, where the same system inland might stay dry for years.
The housing stock adds another layer. Much of Tequesta was platted between the late 1960s and the 1980s, and many of those original homes still run early flex duct or fiberglass duct board. That material degrades, sheds fibers, and holds onto microbial growth in ways modern insulated steel duct does not. Meanwhile, the newer construction along the Loxahatchee and Intracoastal often has multiple air handlers serving larger square footage, which means more duct runs, more return paths, and more places for debris to hide. Seasonal residents add a third factor: when a home sits unattended through a Tequesta summer with the AC barely cycling, the inside of the ductwork becomes a warm, damp, stagnant chamber. Snowbirds returning in October often turn the system back to full cooling and push months of accumulated mold spores straight into the bedrooms.
Salt is the quiet problem nobody sees until a technician is inside the attic. Coastal air corrodes flex duct connections and metal collars. During cleanings here, we frequently find duct joints pulling apart at the seams, which means the system is actively sucking hot, humid attic air into the supply side while you’re paying to cool it. That’s a Tequesta-specific failure pattern, and it changes how we inspect as we clean.
Our Main Tequesta Services
Two jobs account for almost every call we take from Tequesta homeowners: full air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. Here’s what each one involves in this village.
Air Duct Cleaning in Tequesta
We clean the entire duct system: supply and return runs, the plenums, the registers, and the air handler cabinet. In Tequesta, we pay particular attention to flex duct connections because salt air accelerates the corrosion that lets those joints loosen. Our techs use Rotobrush rotary agitation to knock debris off the duct walls, then Nikro negative-pressure extraction pulls it out of the house. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to every Tequesta job in writing. See the full breakdown on our Air Duct Cleaning in Tequesta page.
Dryer Vent Cleaning in Tequesta
A clogged dryer vent in a Tequesta home is a genuine fire hazard, and the humidity here makes lint stickier and more likely to clump inside the pipe. We clean the full run from the dryer to the exterior termination point, including lint trap bypass work so debris behind the trap itself gets removed rather than left to re-clog the line. Snowbird owners with a washer-dryer on the second floor of a riverfront home should have the vent checked before the winter season starts. Full details are on our Dryer Vent Cleaning in Tequesta page.

Approach and Guarantee
Every Tequesta job runs on the Kingswell Guarantee, which is four promises in writing on every single invoice. First, you get a written price before any work starts. That price does not change when the tech arrives. Second, we give you a defined arrival window and we answer the phone with a live person, 24/7, if something shifts. Third, we leave the job site cleaner than we found it, with every register wiped down and the attic access closed properly. Fourth, the 365-Day Done Right Promise means if anything we cleaned fails within a year, we return and make it right at no charge. The Kingswell Way is the code our techs work under: say the price, show up when we said we would, leave the place clean, put the guarantee in writing, come back if it fails.
Every technician who walks into a Tequesta home is background-checked and uniformed. They run professional-grade Rotobrush, Nikro, and Abatement Technologies equipment. Nikro units provide the negative-air extraction that keeps loosened particles from drifting back into your living space. Abatement Technologies HEPA filtration catches what the extraction process stirs up. This is not a box-store shop vac taped to a hose. And for homeowners in Tequesta who want to keep the air clean between service visits, we can recommend Honeywell and Aprilaire filtration products installed right into the existing HVAC system.
Dale Whitmore leads the Kestrel Air Duct Cleaning team, operating under the Kingswell family of companies founded in 2004. Scheduling and dispatch for Tequesta jobs are coordinated from our Miami (South FL) office, with local crews serving the village directly.
Brands We Service in Tequesta
We service duct systems tied to all major HVAC brands found in Tequesta homes: Carrier, Trane, Rheem, Lennox, Goodman, and York. Because the cleaning process runs through the ductwork rather than the equipment itself, the brand of the air handler doesn’t change the method. What matters is the condition of the duct runs, the age of the flex connections, and whether prior work left debris behind. For more detail, see our brands page.
Pricing for Air Duct Cleaning Company in Tequesta, FL
These are the price ranges we quote for Tequesta jobs. The written quote you receive before work starts will fall inside these ranges or we’ll tell you exactly why it doesn’t, in plain language, before you agree to anything.
| Service | Typical Range in Tequesta |
|---|---|
| Single HVAC system, up to 10 vents | $285 - $440 |
| Single HVAC system, 11-18 vents | $410 - $590 |
| Single HVAC system, 19+ vents | $560 - $780 |
| Second HVAC system (same home) | $230 - $420 |
| Dryer vent cleaning (standard, one story) | $145 - $210 |
| Dryer vent cleaning (roof or two-story termination) | $195 - $320 |
| Supply register only cleaning (small condo) | $180 - $280 |
| Whole-home Aprilaire filter housing install | $340 - $530 |
What pushes a Tequesta quote toward the upper end of those ranges? Multiple air handlers in newer riverfront homes, runs of aged flex duct that need replacement rather than just cleaning, and salt-corroded collars that have to be resealed before the system can hold proper airflow. We’ll show you the condition we find before we recommend anything beyond cleaning. The written price is in your hands before a single vent is touched.
Neighborhoods We Serve in Tequesta
We work throughout the village and the immediate surrounding area. Tequesta is a small community, but duct conditions vary block by block depending on when the home was built and how close it sits to the river. Homes along the Loxahatchee and the Intracoastal tend to show more salt corrosion, while the older platted subdivisions running back toward US-1 have more aged flex duct. Representative areas we serve include:
- River Drive and the Loxahatchee riverfront homes
- The neighborhoods around Tequesta Drive and Country Club Drive
- Heritage Oaks and the communities near the Intracoastal
- Village of Tequesta condos and the US-1 corridor
- Areas bordering Jupiter along the south end of the village
Most Tequesta jobs are scheduled within five to seven business days, with limited same-week availability during September and October when the snowbird return peaks.

FAQs About Air Duct Cleaning Company in Tequesta
Most Tequesta appointments are scheduled within five to seven business days. During the September and October snowbird return window, same-week availability tightens, so call as soon as you know your arrival date. We give a defined arrival window on every booking and a live person answers the phone around the clock.
Most Tequesta condo associations require notice before a vent cleaning because access to shared dryer-vent stacks or roof terminations may involve common areas. We coordinate with the property manager when a job needs building access. For single-family homes in the village, no special permit is required for duct or dryer vent cleaning.
We document what we find, show it to you directly, and explain what it means for the system. Anything beyond cleaning, such as replacing deteriorated flex duct or resealing corroded collars, gets a separate written quote before we proceed. Nobody does extra work on a Tequesta job without your sign-off on a number first.
If you’d like an exact quote for a Tequesta property, call (469) 972-3151 and we’ll walk through the system size, the vent count, and any concerns you have. The estimate is free, and the written price you receive is the price you’ll pay.
